The Dream, The Vision, The Reality: Celebrating Two Decades of Atelier
VIP Art Auction Gala and Recognition Dinner

Join the African American Atelier Board of Directors, community supporters and Guest Speaker Dr. Johnnetta B. Cole, Director of the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art as we culminate our twentieth year of promoting awareness, appreciation and sensitivity to the visual arts and culture of African Americans and working in harmony with other ethnic groups. Original and limited edition works of art will be auctioned at the gala, including pieces by Paul Goodnight, Synthia Saint James, Betty LaDuke, Charles Bibbs, Willis"Bing" Davis, Gale Fulton-Ross, Elizabeth Leal, Steve Cozart, and other local talents.

The event will also honor Drs. Gerald and Althea Truesdale; Attorney Joe and Georgia Williams; Dudley Products; Mechanics and Farmers Bank (formerly Greensboro National Bank); and Koury Corporation, the original gallery up fitters who helped open the African American Atelier in 1991.
